Based on the most sensational criminal case of its time, Woyzeck chronicles the breakdown of a young soldier's mind. Used in medical experiments, trampled down by his superiors, Friedrich Johann Franz Woyzeck clings to the one thing that keeps him human.
I was cast earlier this month in Over the River and Through the Woods with the Masquers Playhouse in Pt. Richmond. We're just getting into rehearsals, but have a small problem in that we need a Caitlin, described in the script as 'attractive and charming, in her late twenties.
The show is in Pt. Richmond at the Masquers' space on Park Place. Rehearsals are mostly Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 thus far. Performances will be Friday and Saturday evenings from January 20th to February 25th with a few Thursday evening benefits and Sunday matinees they haven't shared with me yet.
If you or someone you know would like to help out with this, give my stage manager, a nice girl named Marti, a call at (510) 549-3954 (the director's out of town for family reasons). She'd love to hear from you. Thank you muchly!
I have sadly negelected this community for far too long. I went to London in the Fall of 04 and had a virtual orgasm of theatre. Then things got tough and I decided to hide away for a while. But it would seem my vigor for the theatre has returned. There is a show coming up at my school that I happen to be in.

Our Town Now this is normally a show I would avoid, but I've seen it twice now, and it is an incredible production. The director did an amazing job and the cast was just phenomenal. I really reccomend you come and see this one if you get the chance.

Hairspray: A Great Show. Hairspray Just saw Hairspray at the Golden Gate Theatre in Frisco. It was amazing and I had so much fun. I went with a large group from the Summer Rep group I'm with for the summer and we had a blast. Bruce Vilanch played the mother and he was hysterical. I actually got to meet him after the show (along with the guy that played Seaweed and the chick that played Tracy). If anyone lives in the area or is going to visit anytime soon, go see it, it's worth the money. Just don't drive....*shudders*
